A dream came true as self-confessed Spice Girls super-fan Emma Stone finally met the group ahead of their sold out show at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Ahead of their sold-out show at Wembley Stadium in London, Stone and HAIM met Sporty, Baby, Scary and Ginger as part of a contest they held with the Omaze campaign where one lucky person and their guest got a meet-and-greet with the Spice Girls.

The Hollywood actress looked uncharacteristically star-struck as she posed for a photo with ‘Baby Spice’ Emma Bunton, shortly before she took to the stage – she later performed a La La Land tribute to the star.

The Spice Girl later documented her meeting with her A-list fan by sharing two images of the encounter on Instagram with the accompanying caption: ‘When Emma met Emma.‘

Earlier that day Emma told Heart Breakfast she was excited to meet actress namesake Emma at the band’s London show.

She said: ‘Do you know who we’ve got coming? Oh, I hope I’m allowed to say this but Emma Stone is coming tonight and I’ve never met her and we’re going to be meeting her so I’m really excited.‘

Host Jamie Theakston shared her excitement, and explained that despite the La La Land star being a ‘massive’ Hollywood star, ‘all she talks about is dressing up as Baby Spice when she was young.’

The Spice Up Your Life songstress replied: ‘Her name was Emily but she wanted it to be Emma because she was such a Spice Girl Fan.

‘It’s amazing. It’s quite nice. I’m excited!‘

On February 24, Emma Stone attended the 91st Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles. She was nominated as Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Favourite.

Unfortunately, The Favourite didn’t bring any award home but Olivia Colman won Best Leading Actress for her outstanding performance in the film. Emma was very touched by her win.

Stone was wearing a custom Louis Vuitton gown embroidered with sequins, pearls and beads, custom leather sandals, as well as earrings and a ring from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry Collection.

Emma Stone attended the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 27) in Los Angeles.

Emma was nominated for her work in Maniac as Annie Landsberg for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie, as well as Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her work in The Favourite as Abigail Hill.

The actress was joined by boyfriend Dave McCary inside the awards show were they snapped a few photos with Bradley Cooper.

Stone was wearing a Louis Vuitton blouse, pants, jewelry and sandals.

Emma Stone attended the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The actress presented alongside her The Favourite co-stars Olivia Colman and Rachel Weisz during the show.

During Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg‘s opening monologue, Emma actually interjected with an unplanned exclamation!

Sandra was doing a bit talking about the success of Crazy Rich Asians and joked it was the first film with an Asian American leading cast since Aloha and Ghost in the Shell. Of course, Emma played the leading character in Aloha, and Scarlett Johannsson played the lead in Ghost in the Shell and both were accused of whitewashing.

As the joke was told, Emma yelled, “I’m sorry!” and then told the LA Times, “It wasn’t like I planned it, but I did say it.”

She also attended the HBO’s Official 2019 Golden Globe Awards After Party.

Emma is wearing Louis Vuitton.
